WHAT I DO

I believe in big picture storytelling. I listen, ask questions, and listen some more. I develop high-level marketing strategies, and I also proofread copy. I believe in quality and consistency from conception to completion. 

WHERE I DO IT

I believe in doing meaningful work for institutions that are trying to make the world a better place. I understand marketing and communications in the higher education, independent school, and nonprofit markets.

HOW I DO IT

I believe in strategy and data-based decisions. I hire smart people and help them to be successful. I compromise; I hold my ground. I am always learning, and there is always more to learn. I believe in collaboration, hard work, and having fun.

I developed marketing and messaging strategies and tactical plans for signature events and initiatives at Rutgers, including R Game Day (tailgate series), Alumni Weekend, the Hall of Distinguished Alumni Awards Gala, and more.

I led branding sessions with key stakeholders and determined a brand ideal and tagline for the Rutgers University Alumni Association. The brand was successfully implemented across multiple platforms and continued through the 250th celebration of the university.
